Meet Jordan

These adorable kittens are all named after famous Michaels – Jordan, Keaton and Strahan!    These kittens came to us along with their mama Keilani from animal control in Southern Illinois.  They were surrendered after their family realized that they could no longer care for them and wanted them to have a better life.

All 3 are delightful kittens.  Super playful and friendly.  They are also very funny.  For the first day they were here Jordan would only hop around.  They were very good sports about wearing Halloween costumes and are very much enjoying all the toys they get to play with.  They do great with each other and we think they will be fine with other friendly cats or dogs.

Jordan, Keaton and Strahan are great companions for each other and we would love to be able to send them home in pairs or to a home with another kitty friend.   While we do not require that the kittens be adopted in pairs, we do give preference to pair adoptions or those that have a younger, playful cat at home who needs a friend.

The famous Michaels are all microchipped and up to date on their vaccines.  With your adoption you will receive a certificate for a free exam with one of our veterinary partners. Jordan, Keaton and Strahan have all learned how to sit nicely for nail trims and do very well with scratching posts.  The kittens may not be declawed.

You can check out facebook.com/Kittenville.il where their foster mom has documented their time in foster care.

Jordan is a 10 week old female (as of 10/23/20) who is is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.

Jordan's adoption fee is $150.  If you are interested in meeting Jordan, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
