Meet Frankenstein

I'm a Jackson Galaxy Project Cat Pawsitive cat! My foster mom and I are working on learning lots of fun behaviors and putting them "on cue" so that I do them on command! Right now I have mastered "sit" and "head bump" (I will rub my head against your hand when you hold it out to me and say "bump"). I love doing this so much that now I will head bump my foster mom anytime I want attention! I'm currently learning how to touch a target with my paw in preparation of learning how to give a high five! You can watch my progress on ARF's Facebook page!

Frankie is a really sweet kitty! She purrs so loud and is very smart.  She prefers people but would do good with an older, quiet cat or 2 who will leave her alone. She definitely does not enjoy kittens and will swat at them and hiss when they get too close to her. We believe this is due to the fact that she can't see well out of her left eye and kittens move unpredictably.  She has permanent scarring of her cornea from a bad eye infection she had when she arrived at ARF. She is very gentle with people and LOVES to be pet! She loves pets so much that her foster mom will reward her by petting her during Cat Pawsitive training! Frankie would do great with a human who is interested in continuing her training.  She's the only ARF Cat Pawsitive cat who has mastered 2 different behaviors and is currently working on learning a third behavior. Frankie enjoys playing with wand toys, treats, pets, and sleeping with her humans. Frankie has recently started attending adoption events in order to boost her confidence and make her more visible to potential adopters.

Frankenstein will not be attending adoption events, but she is still available to meet and adopt.

Frankenstein is a 1.5 year old female (2/28/20) who is micro-chipped, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.

Frankenstein's adoption fee is $110.  If you are interested in meeting Frankenstein, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If an animal is on our website, it is still available but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
