Meet Simbi & Patches (bonded pair)

Simbi and Patches are ready for a new home! These boys were dropped off together at DuPage Animal Control after their owner passed away. Lucky for them, ARF immediately picked these brothers up and brought them to a loving foster home. The boys were depressed, likely from the loss of their owner, but with loads of love, treats, and toys, they are now full of purrs!

Patches is white and grey, loves the couch, and explores the house. The true definition of a curious cat. His foster thinks he has a little old man grin when he finds the perfect perch in the window, undoubtedly playing out what it might feel like to catch a bird. Patches is also a HUGE recreational catnip user. Patches is a big boy with lots of love to give!

Simbi is orange, loves his cat tree, and instantly melts when he gets his pets. A purr machine, avid bird watcher, and cuddler! His foster loves his silly faces, especially how he talks with his eyes, looking cute, bewildered, silly, and rambunctious all in a matter of seconds. Simbi loves to play with strings and the laser pointer. Simbi cannot wait to have cuddle time on the couch.

Both boys eat wet and dry food, enjoy their water fountain, and use their kitty box with no accidents.  Come meet these handsome boys today!

Both cats are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained.

Their adoption fee is $270 ($135x2).  If you are interested in meeting Simbi & Patches, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
