Meet Grey Wolf & Nymeria *Lynx Point Siamese*

Grey Wolf and Nymeria are a bonded brother and sister who were adopted together, then were returned to the rescue when their adopter couldn’t overcome allergies. They were adopted a second time, and then returned for their own sake when the resident toddlers handled them in a way the adopter described as “too rough.” Through no fault of their own, these two wonderful kitties have had a bumpy road and find themselves with their foster mom once again. They are a little jumpy with fast movement and loud noises, which is no surprise since they were around children that scared them. They never showed signs of aggression to those children, which is a credit to the kinds of kitties they are. They were super happy to see their foster mom even after 4 months away, so with the right home, they will settle in nicely.

The early part of their life was no picnic either: They were found in an abandoned house without a mama cat when they were tiny babies. Fortunately, a nursing mama with 5 kittens also took on the orphans and raised them as her own after their foster mom bottle fed them for two weeks to make sure they didn’t have anything that would kill the mama cat or her babies. With the help of that mama cat and their human foster mom, Grey Wolf and Nymeria flourished. Their ideal family is looking for two kittens who not only love each other, but also want to share their love with humans. They are very outgoing and chatty, especially when it’s meal time. We have no history on Grey Wolf and Nymeria since they were found abandoned, so we don’t know what kind of Siamese mix they are, though their markings appear to be lynx point and they have blue eyes. They would be a great addition to any family looking for the best combo of sweet and adorable cats. They should not go to a home with toddlers or other children who don’t know how to treat cats.

Grey Wolf and Nymeria are microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered/spayed, and litter box trained.

Grey Wolf and Nymeria's combined adoption fee is $450. If you are interested in meeting Grey Wolf and Nymeria, please fill out our online kitten adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ today!

Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
